In the last days over 10 million spammails were send via the Swisscom network per day. As an reaction to being listed in UCEPROTECT-Level 3 the guys at Swisscom/Bluewin AS44038 have now started blocking port 25. During the testphase with a small group of customers Swisscom was able to filter more than 2 million spams a spokesman of Swisscom said to UCEPROTECT.... more »

I got a Paypal forgery phish from 8.24.7.5. Whois on the IP showed only the /8 held by level3.com, with no subassignment or rwhois. Blocking an entire /8 for a single spam/phish seems a bit too BOFHish even for a household server. What do others do for cases like this? Or is level3 so spam-friendly that blocking the /8 is a reasonable... more »

I have addressed this via email, voice mail, tech support tickets and other means and so far they have NOT lifted a finger. So, with that, here is the problem: We are not doing business with ISDN.net and they STILL have IP space swipped under our name and continue to ignore our repeated requests for them to REMOVE the SWIP's.... more »
