OT: Tide!
Found in the email: -------------------------- Dear Tide: I am writing to say what an excellent product you have. I've used it all of my married life, as my Mom always told me it was the best. Now that I am in my forties, I find it even better! In fact, about a month ago, I spilled some red wine on my new white blouse. My inconsiderate... more »

hp P2015dn dp i??
Any way to trick an hp P2015dn to print at 150dpi? I can't find a setting below 600dpi, which makes it hard to see wires ...I can cheat, make a PDF at 150 dpi, then print. But that's a nuisance. ...Jim Thompson

Replace MAX232CPE With FTD chip
Probably been covered a thousand times in this forum, but have been doing other things for quite a few years now. I designed many years ago some Serial interface boards using the MAX232CPE RS232 chip. I have been asked by the owners of the product to change these to USB connectivety. OT Car Battery Explodes
Yesterday my wife's Toyota Corolla had a battery moment. When she started the car, after it had been parked it for about two hours, there was a loud explosion. The results of the battery's side splitting event can be viewed at [link] The battery centre suggested it was possibly over charged. After I installed... more »

video switch
Hi I've got this circuit [link] Video_In is a 1V composite signal. EN is from an HCT04 logic gate. I've not really used FETs before. If EN is low ( < 0.5V ) will the FET be non-conducting? And if EN is high ( > 4V ), does the FET just act like an analog switch?... more »
